‘Pok Pok Playroom’ is now available on the App Store

As long as we configure them appropriately and monitor their usage time, mobile phones and tablets can be a great tool to make children – from a certain age – entertain themselves. In fact, in Google Play and in the App Store, we can find many applications for the little ones in the house.

Now, developers of popular games like ‘Alto’s Adventure’ and ‘Alto’s Odyssey’ have a proposal for children between 4 and 6 years old. This is ‘Pok Pok Playroom’, an educational title with which Snowman aims to promote creativity and learning. Best of all, it has no ads or in-app purchases.

With that phrase its creators define ‘Pok Pok Playroom’, an app in which children can use your intuition and imagination to explore at your own pace. The objective, as we said, is to promote creativity and learning through free play, so that there is no right or wrong way to play, but each session is unique.

Snowman assures that his new proposal promotes cognitive development and social-emotional skills through challenges that stimulate children as they grow and increase their curiosity: the more they explore, the more they discover. To do this, they use pictures, sounds and games that include a wide variety of people, family structures, genders, origins and abilities. At the moment, there are six games available, but they promise to update them frequently and add more options.

It also contains short questions created by educators that parents can ask children while they play to deepen learning. It should also be noted that this title is completely safe for children, since does not contain ads or purchases within the application. And something very useful: it allows you to save the children’s drawings in iCloud to print them or share them with family and friends.

Downloading ‘Pok Pok Playroom’ is free, but requires a subscription to 3.99 euros per month or 29.99 euros per year to access all content. Of course, with ‘Share with the family’ of iOS, a subscription works for all devices.
