The MiDGT app officially arrives on iOS and Android for everyone: you can now download it for free

A few weeks ago some of us had the opportunity to test the application my DGT. A formula designed to be able to carry your driver’s license, driving licence and all documentation on your mobile regarding our vehicle. My DGT app had arrived at iOS and Android but in beta phase.

Only a few people were able to test the new DGT application, as they soon turned off the tap of the beta and those interested had no choice but to be patient if they wanted to use it. It was time to start a wait that has come to an end today, because my DGT is now available to everyone on iOS and Android.

Now available to everyone

If you access this link on the App Store or this link on the Google Play Store you can install the application on your phone. A first step to carry our personal documentation electronically on your mobile phone.

The step is logical if we already think that in smartphone we can include the credit card and pay via NFC. This is the next step to avoid having to carry all the documentation in paper format, something that with my DGT, already can be done, accessing all the vehicle documentation.

To use the app on iOS and Android it is necessary to have the digital certificate on the mobile and for those who have doubts, nothing better than following this tutorial that we already did in its day.

And having said all this, there is a warning to be made, and that is that the DGT already warns us this app does not replace physical documentation and that therefore “you must continue to carry your documentation or that of your vehicle in physical format until the DGT soon approves the regulation that allows you to carry only the App and forget about the papers”.
