Keeping a backup of the entire phone gallery is a great recommendation because you never know what might happen to that device where we keep most of our memories. Google Photos is one of the applications that best takes care of the task, but there are others that also do a great job, such as Movistar Cloud. This service offers unlimited space in the cloud and no need to compress content. It even allows you to store folders with all types of files to have them accessible on other mobiles, tablets and even computers.
Movistar Cloud, complete and unlimited backup system
The service is offered to all customers with a mobile contract rate, also to those who have a Movistar Fusion contract in any of its modalities. It can be activated from the same Movistar Cloud application (mobile and desktop) or by going to this website.
The look and feel of the Movistar Cloud is very similar to that of Google Photos, although somewhat more limited in extra options for content management. In return, Movistar Cloud allows you to choose any folder on your phone to back up all your files, including documents and music, for example (not just pictures and videos). The content is stored in the Movistar cloud in an encrypted manner, so only the user can access it; without this preventing the sharing of what has been stored (with a read-only option or allowing the addition of content).
Movistar Cloud synchronizes from the mobile the selected folders, also the whole gallery to have it in the cloud and safe. Although it’s a little more rough than Google Photos, Movistar Cloud is a excellent alternative if you have a contract line (or Merger) with the operator and do not want to worry about space. The synchronization is reliable, you can access the backup from any device (including computers) and the space is unlimited without Movistar Cloud recompressing the images and videos: all are uploaded in their original size and quality.
You can download the Movistar Cloud application for your Android or iOS device, either mobile or tablet. The download is free, as is the use of the platform. However, it is only valid for Movistar customers.
