We are just a few weeks away from a new Apple event, according to several common sources of rumor; and little by little more details are appearing than we are going to see. The latest comes from Jon Prosser, who claims that the cheapest model of the iPhone 12 Pro will have 128GB of storage.
You can currently buy an iPhone 11 Pro from ?1,159 with 64GB of storage, so if Prosser is right, you’re looking at Apple. doubling the capacity base of their high-end phones. These iPhone 12 Pro would arrive, however, some time after the “iPhone 12 non-Pro”.
Follow the bet towards an event on October 13
Apple’s first shipment of final iPhone 12 units is going out to distributors on October 5th
The shipment includes:
iPhone 12 mini 5.4
(Definitely the final marketing name)
iPhone 12 6.1
Event on October 13, as I mentioned before.

Prosser insists that the new iPhone range will be introduced on tuesday 13 octoberThis would be the first of possibly two more Apple events before the end of 2020, where we could also see accessories such as AirTags or AirPods Studio being presented.
The first models that will be sold and will be sent on October 5th to all distributors (always according to Prosser) are the 5.4-inch “iPhone 12 mini” and the 6.1-inch “iPhone 12. Both will be sold with 64, 128 or 259 GB of storage. The Pro models may also be presented at that event, to promise a sale later.
Jon Prosser has a mixed record of success and failure in his predictions, ranking tenth on AppleTrack’s list of the most reliable filters above MacRumors and below 9to5Mac and Ming-Chi Kuo. In two weeks (or one week if we receive invitations) we’ll know if this time it’s right or wrong.
