The apple company has just shared a new promotional video highlighting the photos that can be taken in low-light settings, thanks to the advanced ‘Night Mode’ of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro. In the 38 second clip, Apple offers comparisons of images taken with and without night mode enabled.
As is often the case with these ads, the firm livens them up with great songs, and in this case it was the turn of Smashing Pumpkins’ song ‘We Only Come Out At Night‘. The video focuses on the dramatic effect that night mode can have on iPhone photography.
Although Apple rarely makes parallel comparisons in its advertising, this video is a clear exception, as the purpose of the ad is show how ‘Night Mode’ can help improve iPhone images in low light environments. “Capture more natural-looking photos in low light with Night Mode on iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro”says Apple.
A contest with the best photos with ‘Night Mode
Earlier this year, Apple opened a call for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max users share your best captures using the ‘Night Mode’ of your device. Until January 29th, Apple was looking for the most impressive photos captured by users around the world.
The company will develop the five winning photos on March 4thThe winning photos will be published in a gallery on Apple Newsroom, apple.com and Apple Instagram (@apple).
