iPhone 12 mini is the name that appears on a photo showing the stickers of several iPhone cases yet to be revealed. The image adds weight to the leak earlier this week when this naming was first being considered for the next generation iPhone 12. This is the first time Apple has used this name for a terminal.
An iPhone 12 mini filtered through stickers
As you can see in the photo, we have three stickers that refer to as many black silicone sleeves. They are all named after Apple’s distributor in Ireland and dated September 2020. In all of them we clearly see the name of the iPhone they support, being the following:
iPhone 12 mini
iPhone 12 / 12 Pro
iPhone 12 Pro Max

- iPhone 12 Pro Max with serial number MHLG3ZM/A
By hand, someone has written over the expected inches for all four models. Specifically, 5.4 inches for the iPhone 12 miniThe iPhone 12 Pro, 6.1 inches for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. This also marks a change from what we thought would be the names of the iPhone 12.
The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro share the same case, so their dimensions must be identical according to this image
Like this, what we called the iPhone 12 with 5.4 inches is actually the iPhone 12 mini. The one we called iPhone 12 Max, will be the iPhone 12 simply. The other two iPhones maintain the classification they’ve been given until now.
This image has been filtered by the same twitterer who released the user manual for the new iPad Air 4. One that showed a renewed and frameless design, which has finally become reality. So we can give some weight to the veracity of this picture.
