Netflix

The Californian streaming platform is one of the ones with more users in our country. Series like ‘Narcos’, ‘Orange is The New Black’ or ‘Paquita Salas’ have been a resounding success and a good reason to subscribe to Netflix.

It will cost 6.99 euros per month but, until March 23, you can subscribe for 59.99 euros per year (instead of 69.99 euros), which would be equivalent to 4.99 euros a month.

It is available for all types of devices: Android, iOS, LG WebOS, Samsung Tizen, PS4, Xbox and Fire TV. In addition, you can enjoy Disney+ on four screens simultaneously and download it to up to ten devices.

HBO

Although the platform is known for ‘The Maid’s Tale’ and ‘Game of Thrones’, HBOAnd there is much more: ‘Big Little Lies’, ‘The Wire’, ‘The Sopranos’, ‘Vikings’ or ‘Chernobyl’ are all in their extensive catalogue. They will also be premiering Patria.

You can try HBO for free during two weeks. Afterwards, the price will be 8.99 euros per month and allows two simultaneous reproductions.

Rakuten TV

Previously known as Wuaki, this service offers both films and series on demand. It has a box office for film rentals, as if it were a virtual video store and, of course, a monthly subscription.

With this subscription we can access a selection of films and series, but does not include premieres.

You can try Rakuten TV for free, for one month, without obligation. After that, your monthly fee will be 6.99 euros It also has free movies, without registration, but with ads.

Sky TV

Unlike other options, in Sky TVwe’ll have a payment channel selectionand series and movies. That is, in addition to series and movies (‘Chernobyl’, ‘Catherine the Great’ or ‘The Walking Dead’, among many others) we can see channels like Fox, AXN, TNT or Calle 13.

For its operation it is enough to have a device with internet connection (Smart TV, mobile, tablet, PC) or the Sky TV Box that they provide.

Movistar+ Lite

The Spanish platform offers children’s channels, comedy, sports and many series. We will have eight channels (#0, #Come on, Movistar Series, Movistar Seriesmania, FOX, TNT, Comedy Central and AMC) and, until April 30, eight other children’s channels: Disney Jr, Disney XD, Disney Channel, Nick Jr, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Panda and Baby TV.

We can enjoy series like ‘The Good Fight’, ‘Better Call Saul’ or ‘Riverdale’ for a month completely free. Once the free month has passed, the service costs 8 euros per month (without permanence). In addition, it allows two simultaneous reproductions.

YouTube Premium

Although it is no longer really a competitor for Netflix, HBO and company, at the time, this service was necessary in order to enjoy YouTube Originals. Although there is still content restricted to members, such as Viper Club, Cobra Kai (the superb sequel to Karate Kid) or Weird City, most of its catalogue is open to the public.

In addition, this service offers ad-free videos, background playback, music and downloads. YouTube Premium has a monthly price of 11.99 euro but you can try it out for free for a month.

Apple TV+

Although, at the moment, their catalogue is very limited (‘The Morning Show’, ‘See’ or ‘Dickinson’) it has a monthly subscription (4.99 euros) and also allows us to rent (or buy) content.

The service has a seven-day free trial for any user, but if you purchase an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or Apple TV, no less than 12 months free.

In addition, the first episodes of some of the series are available for free without having to activate the trial period.

Filmin

At Filmin They are mainly committed to auteur cinema and European cinema. It bases a large part of its content on rental productions and films participating in film competitions.

It is available for Apple TV, Chromecast, iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, PlayStation and, of course, Smart TV devices.

In addition, we have a basic subscription option for 7.99 euros per month, with two simultaneous screens and more than 10,000 titles.

DAZN

Finally, although sport is also quarantined, we cannot forget DAZN. This platform focuses on sports events and allows you to enjoy live sport. Its content includes MotoGP, America’s Cup, Premier LeagueFA Cup, Copa del Rey, Euroleague… In addition, we will have access to the Eurosport.
